Glonax is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

We collect the following categories of personal information:

• Account & identity data — your full name, email address, phone number, and the login credentials you create.
• Payment data — the mobile money number you register so we can pay you for approved shifts. We do not store card numbers or bank account details.
• Attendance data — when you check in and out of a shift, the app records a selfie photo and your device location at that moment to confirm you are at the assigned venue.
• Work records — shifts assigned to you, hours worked, timesheets, offers you apply to, earnings, and payout status.
• Device & technical data — basic information needed to operate the app securely, such as app version and error logs.

We only collect location and camera data while you are actively using a check-in feature. The app does not track your location in the background.

We use personal information to:

• create and manage your worker account;
• verify your attendance at a venue using your check-in selfie and location;
• offer you shifts, process your applications, and record hours worked;
• calculate and pay your earnings to your registered mobile money number, less the disclosed service fee;
• communicate with you about shifts, payments, and your account;
• keep records required to run the program, prevent fraud, and comply with the law.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the program:

• Partner venues — limited details (such as your name and that you are assigned) so a venue can expect you for a shift.
• Payment providers — the mobile-money processor used to send your pay.
• Service providers — trusted vendors that host our systems and authentication (for example, our cloud and database provider), acting on our instructions.
• Legal authorities — where we are required to by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

We keep your account and work information for as long as you participate in the program and afterward only as long as needed for records, tax, and legal obligations. Check-in selfies and location points are retained to support the attendance record for the shift they relate to. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. You can request deletion of your account at any time — see the next section.

You may, at any time:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct information that is wrong or out of date;
• request deletion of your account and personal data (see our Data Deletion page);
• withdraw consent for optional processing — note that camera and location access are required to check in, so declining them means you cannot use the check-in feature.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@glonaxltd.com. You may also manage camera and location permissions from your device settings at any time.

Access to the app requires an email and password. We use reputable cloud infrastructure, encrypted connections, and access controls to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password confidential and contact us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

The Glonax Rota app is intended for adults who are eligible to work. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
